The 1997 Lincoln Town Car is now officially the last remaining rear-wheel-drive luxury sedan made. It's also quite popular as a limousine, having sold over 100,000 units last year, and commands 75 percent of the custom limousine market.
If it can be called a base model, the Executive starts the Town Car lineup. It's followed by the Signature Series, and the subject of today's evaluation, the Cartier model.
